Croatia and Serbia mark the 24th anniversary of "Operation Storm"

August 5 in Croatia is marked as Victory and Homeland Day and is celebrated accordingly. In Serbia however it was a different story. 1.861 Serbs were either killed or listed as missing as a result of the attack and hundreds of thousands of Serbs were driven out of the region. Serbian number is 200.000 and Croatian 90,000. Both sides still disagree on what happened during the four-day offensive.
