Do you have a right to die? Victoria to legalise voluntary assisted dying, in Serbia the debate continues

In Victoria landmark legislation for the legalisation of voluntary euthanasia passed the Upper House 22 votes to 18. In NSW however, a proposed bill in 2017 was defeated 20 to 19. Though assisted dying for the terminally ill will be legal in Victoria next week, the country is still divided over what constitutes ethical, voluntary dying and who has the right to choose when you die? We look at the history of euthanasia in Australia, and the conflicts that continue in Serbia.
