Many countries around the world continue to disallow the cultivation of genetically modified crops or GM crops, but in Australia, GM crops are banned in only two states. In fact, Australia ranks 12th in the world when it comes to hectares on which GM food is being grown. So is it a change we need, or a force of evil we soon won't be able to prevent? Dr. Kevin Smith, professor of pasture science, from the University of Melbourne spoke to us about what GMO means, and why people may be afraid.
