International Serbian community transcends borders with a song

Serbians from 17 countries around the world defied isolation in a video performance of "This is Serbia/ Ovo je Srbija". Nearly 200 singers and musicians participated in the largest community project the diaspora has ever seen.

Members of the Serbian community in Australia sent their contribution.

From the comfort of their own homes, each person sang or played a section of the song. The sections were later edited into a final video, each community representing the country they now live in. Australia was put on the map by KUD Oplenac from Adelaide, Balkan Etno and Bonnyrigg Sports Club from Sydney. Tanja Zupkovic from Bonnyrigg joined us to talk emotions, reactions and projects to come!
