Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Opposition Leader Bill Shorten have gone head-to-head in the final televised debate before the May 18 federal election. At the National Press Club in Canberra, the two men seeking to be Prime Minister went over plenty of talking points, both old and new.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison and the Coalition Government have been targeted by online propaganda coming from social media accounts affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

The findings come from a paper, prepared by cyber propaganda researchers Dr Michael Jensen, Dr Titus Chen and Tom Sear, which will be delivered to the Safeguarding Australia Summit in Canberra today.

The EU embassy in Canberra is driving a strong lobbying campaign to persuade Australian firms that London will not offer them the same benefits as it did when - and the ambassador says "when" - Britain finally decides to exit (Brexit, as it's called).
