Medicare has announced a new package of 110.7 million dollars to cover treatment of eating disorders. This includes appointments with doctors, psychologists, and nutritionists. But are we doing enough for people suffering from eating disorders?


One in four Australians with eating disorders go without basic and essential healthcare or living necessities, according to a survey commissioned by the Butterfly Foundation earlier this year.

To find our more, Sofija Petrović spoke to CEO of Butterfly Foundation Christine Morgan, as well as the director of Insideout Institute, Dr. Sarah Maguire who is also a clinical psychologist.
