On 25 April, Deputy Head of Australian diplomatic mission in Serbia Mr Glenn Morrison and a Second Secretary Maris Tebecis travelled to Nis. Mr Morrison opened an exhibition dedicated to Ms Olive King - a heroic Australian woman who saved many lives in Serbia during the First World War. Mr Tebecis's visual presentation was dedicated to Modern Australia. In his presentation to the large audience he shared pictures of Australian animals and beaches, he presented Australian inventions and arts and a unique multiculturalism. He rounded it off with Aussie Quiz, including phases like 'fair dinkum' and 'chuck a sickie'! The Olive King exhibition is at the "Oficirski Dom" in Nis and will be open for ten days.
