Portugal wins Eurovision for the first time

Portugal has won the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time. Salvador Sobral's jazz-style ballad "Amar Pelos Dois" was among the favourites tipped to win the 62-nd edition of the competition. Australia made its mark on European music audiences in another way, too.
