Prevention is better than cure, so what are we doing about domestic violence in Australia?

According to statistics from White Ribbon Australia, on average one woman a week dies at the hands of male domestic violence. In an overwhelmingly large amount cases, the killer was a man from her inner circle. A partner, or former partner, a brother, cousin or acquaintance. Further statistics show that violence against women, and against men, is usually fueled by men. So what is being done to stop it? Organisation "ourWATCh" is working to stop violence before it starts. CEO Patty Kinnersly joined the program to discuss more about the cultures, attitudes, and structures that need to be changed in order to prevent violence against women.
