Serbian Orthodox Church in Australia marks two great jubilees

Serbian Orthodox Church (The Serbian Orthodox Metropolitanate of Australia and New Zealand) together with the members of the community from across Australia and New Zealand will organise commemoration 800 years of the Serbian Orthodox Church’s autocephaly and 70 years of its organised Church life in Australia and New Zealand. Celebrations Coordinator Rev. Presbyter Aleksandar Ivanovic from St Stephen Serbian Orthodox Church in Rooty Hill told us more.

Central manifestation will be held on Saturday the 7th of September at the grounds of the future St Sava College in Varroville - Sydney (381 St Andrews Rd).

But before that a reception and an academic program  is on 5 th September at Pioneer Theatre at Castle Hill NSW, 14 Pennant Street, Castle Hill 2154
