Slavic studies experts from across the world have met in Belgrade, Serbia. The annual Slavic Studies Congress is held at the Belgrade University Faculty of Philology's International Slavic Centre. The centre, estbalished in 1970, is the longest running in the world and the meetings are held to discuss progress in terms of Serbian and Slavic literture, language and culture.
