This week we speak to expert Dr. Neils Wouters, Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne, about technology that runs our smart devices, especially what we call smart speakers. How much of our everyday life is heading for eternal storage on the biggest tech servers in the world? And does it really matter that our phones and speakers are listening? Dr. Wouters argues that our tech addiction has indeed clouded our perceptions of what is normal and what should be private.
