Tune in to SBS Serbian every Tuesday and receive information in your own language about ageing well, healthy living and the Aged Care System. The series of segments titled "Speak My Language" for people 65+ we will prepare together with Ms Gordana Spirovska, MCCI’s Sector Support and Development Officer, who will through simple in-language conversations, tell us about healthy ageing and services provided to elderly Australians.

SBS radio proudly support "Speak My Language " Program together with The National Ethnic and Multicultural Broadcaster's Council, EEC NSW, ECCV, ECCQ and Diversicare.

Minister for Aged Care, Ken Wyatt AM, launched the language initiative "Speak My Language " at Parliament House last September. The program is created to be  broadcast in more than 25 languages on 80 ethnic radio stations across Australia.

The project harnesses the strength and scope of community radio to inform culturally and linguistically diverse communities about the Commonwealth's aged care system. SBS is the media partner.

The Speak My Language Program encourages all our listeners to visit the My Aged Care website and find information provided in your language.
Click here or call the My Aged Care helpline on 1800 200 422.
Did you know you can also contact TIS (Translating and Interpreting Service) on 131 450 and they can assist you in your language to speak to someone for My Aged Care.
