St. Simeon Village is a 41 bed single level aged care facility that provides service and care to multicultural aged residents by suitably qualified and professional staff.St. Simeon Village and St. Simeon Community Services, while Serbian Orthodox based, accepts people from all religions, and residents are encouraged to fulfill their particular religious needs. About a specific, tailored home care packages we have talked to Sofija Milosevic, State Community Coordinator and Marija Djurasinovic, Social Worker.
'We deal in aged care and offered our clients tailored packages to their specific needs. The services we offer can basically be anything the client requires. For instance Transport to and from medical appointments, out to lunch, coffee and even shopping. Personal care which includes meal preparation, medication monitoring, assisting the client with bathing. Domestic Assistance which is doing the day to day cleaning required by the client that they are no longer able to do on their own to ensure they are living in a clean environment. Home Modification that are tailored to requirements of the client for instance hand rails in the bathroom, toilet or on the stairs to assist them with mobility. We also offer lawn mowing services. All of these services can be incorporated into a package tailored to each individuals needs."
