Australian Ambassador in Belgrade Ms Julia Feeney ended the year with two awards. In November she was awarded as the The best women in XXI century in the area of diplomacy. She was recognised for her strong commitment and contribution to the empowerment of women, with the special focus on economic empowerment, in Serbia, Montenegro and FYROM. And just a week ago Ms Feeney was awarded for contributions in preservation of Serbian cultural heritage.The Award was given by the Centre for Serbs in diaspora and the region. It recognises considerable work the Embassy and HOM dedicated on reviving traditional skills and crafts and encouraging women empowerment. We have talked with Ambassador Feeney in her residence in Belgrade.
