The case for quitting: Can e-cigarettes help drop smoker numbers in Australia?

Erdem Koch, spokesperson for Philip Morris joins us to speak more about why the Australian government should consider regulatory legislation that will help the sale of smoke free devices containing nicotine. International studies showing e-cigarette use leads to diminishing numbers of traditional, tobacco smokers, is at the heart of tobacco company, Philip Morris', new "smoke free" future. According to studies, e-cigarettes are up to 95% safer than traditional cigarette use, which through combustion, can release up to 6,000 chemicals. Nicotine addiction remains a concern for medical professionals in Australia, however, as nicotine is listed as a poisonous substance by the Australian Government.
