The Anglican Church of Australia, the Scouts, Salvation Army and Y-M-C-A are to join the national redress scheme for child sexual abuse survivors. The federal Health Minister has been forced to apologise for an expletive-laden verbal barrage towards a Northern Territory local government leader. Victoria Police have apologised after it was revealed officers had more than a quarter of a million roadside breath tests over a five year period.
