Reserve Bank governor Philip Lowe says the outlook for the Australian economy is favourable, with expectations of good growth and a declining unemployment rate. He expects interest rates to eventually rise, but says there are signs wages could go up, too. Still, interpretations of economic projections are rarely in agreement.
