"The Song Boat" is an audio-visual concert installation featuring the music of Dr Nela Trifkovic, performed by Saray Iluminado, the visual art of Cait NaMara and the theatrical concept by James Adler. Driven by music and inspired by image and narration, this new work draws on the references to the St Louis boat of Jewish refugees who lost their lives seeking asylum in the 1940's and recounts the timeless stories of love, grief, hope, suffering and the irrepressible power of the human spirit.
