It's the biggest weekend of the year, every year, in Australian sport. The Grand Finals of Australia's two biggest sporting competitions usually fall on consecutive days, and so it was again this year. It's a weekend that brings huge crowds, record audiences, both in person and through the media, and the competing extremes of heartbreaking disappointment and ectastic triumph.
