This year is expected to be the hottest since records began according to the World Meteorological Organisation. The U-N weather agency says average surface temperatures are 1.2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial times. Delegates at international climate talks in Morocco are concerned about the impact U-S President elect Donald Trump will have on the Paris Climate Agreement reached last year.
