The event will have a rich music and dance program and will take place with the presentation of many Serbian and Greek dance groups from Sydney. The Serbian Orthodox Church and School Community of St Archdeacon Stephen, in Rooty Hill, Sydney, invites all the Sydney and New South Wales Greek community, families and friends to their 23rd annual Greek-Serbian Orthodox & Cultural Friendship Day, Ljubica Ridley amd Dimitrios Kametopoulos told to SBS.

In 1994, after the years when the invaluable help and support of Greeks from Greece, Cyprus and diaspora was outpouring for Serbian people in their war-torn countries of former Yugoslavia, one small Serbian Orthodox parish community in Western Sydney wanted to show the appreciation for everything Greek people did for them.
From the event held in 1994, titled Greek-Serbian Friendship day, an annual Greek-Serbian Orthodox and Cultural Friendship day was born. Held every September since then, the event will this Sunday celebrate its 23rd.

When: Sunday 25 September, from 9.30 am
Where: Serbian Orthodox Church & Parish Hall of St Stephen, 259 Hyatts Rd (corner Woodstock Ave), Rooty Hill
