The federal budget (April 2, 7:30pm AEDT) is almost upon us. Brought forward a month to make way for an election in May, it will be packed with policies the government hopes will swing the poll its way. To get a sense of what senior voters will be looking for in the budget, S-B-S visited the marginal Victorian seat of Corangamite, where the Liberal M-P's hold on power balances on a knife's edge. Labor's policy to abolish refundable franking credits if it is elected has retirees in the constituency considering their financial security.
