"Belgrade’s GREEN FEST is a unique event in the region of South East Europe that binds environmental and cultural activities through film screenings, workshops, lectures, debates, exhibitions and innovations which are shaping this festival into the form that connects and brings together people of all professions and ages", says Festival's Program Director Vladan Scekic for SBS.
Altogether 65 movies in six categories will be screened at the festival this year. And Mr Scekic underlined that he is proud to present two movies From Australia and New Zealand.
"Australian movie When Balloon Fly from the Director Jilli Rose talks about a problem that has rarely been addressed and that is a tricky subject of party trash ending up in the waterways"
"Besides the Australian entry we will be able to present a New Zealand movie Antarctic Waters from the Director James Muir. Movie is talking about some bold moves being made to give conservation protection to theimportant earth system - the waters of Antarctica", Mr Scekis said.
