Investigations are continuing to try to determine how rockmelons became contaminated with listeria.
The outbreak has killed two people and has been traced to a grower from the New South Wales Riverina.
Lydia Buchtmann from the Food Safety Information Council has told the ABC inquiries are underway to work out what went wrong.
