A Deakin PhD candidate has discovered a way to extend the shelf life of milk by more than five weeks. Deakin Institute for Frontier Materials researcher Sri Balaji Ponraj made the breakthrough by working out that microscopic plasma bubbles could be shot through milk as an alternative method to pasteurisation.
