Jeyakumaran, also known as JK, is a Sri Lankan diasporic writer living in Melbourne. JK writes various genres of literature in his personal website padalay. JK has written three novels, more than thirty short stories and number of various creative essays. En Kollaipurathuk kaathaligal, Amuthavayan, Velli and Kanthasamiyum Galaxyum are some of his notable works.
