Australian Federal Police deployed to Solomon Islands

A team of Australian Federal police has been dispatched to the Solomon Islands to assist in quelling civil unrest that's been ongoing for three days.

The deployment of dozens of officers came after a request from the island nation's Prime Minister for help in restoring order.
