Australia's deal to resettle refugees in the US: what we know so far

The government has announced it has struck a deal with the United States to resettle asylum seekers. While Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull hasn't outlined the exact number of refugees who will be affected, he has confirmed it will be a one-off, never to be repeated agreement. Immigration Minister Peter Dutton says the government is also in the final stages of negotiation with Nauru for a 20-year visa. This is an analysis on Aus-Us deal.
