Following a briefing with industry on Tuesday [[June 21]], it says the spot market could be re-instated if certain criteria are met, and there would still be a 24 hour period of monitoring before a decision is made. Scrutiny on energy companies around the country is growing, with the government seeking to look into reports of a potential gaming of the market.
