The Sri Venkateswara Temple at Helensburgh in Sydney, Australia is one of the famous Hindu temples in the southern hemisphere. The temple is managed by Sri Venkateswara Temple Association which was formed in 1978. In its almost 40 years of history, the management committee comes under criticism by some of its members. SBS Tamil brought the story on the Criticisms and the committee's response last week, and promised to update the listeners on the outcome of the AGM. Dr A Bala who was the former President of the Sri Venkateswara Temple Association spoke to RaySel on the outcome of the AGM this morning. SBS Tamil contacted the current office bearers of the Sri Venkateswara Temple Association to get their views but we could not get their response so far. However, we bring their views and version of the event once received their response.
