“I like the poetry form the most” - Aazhiyal

Mathubashini, known as Aazhiyal in the Tamil literary world, is a well-known poet. She has received a prestigious award (“Kavithai Viruthu”) from Canada’s Ilakkiyath Thottam for Nedumarangkalai Vazhthal”, a poetry anthology published by Aṉangu feminist publication in Dec 2020. RaySel spoke to Aazhiyal about her writings and journey as a poet.
