India's COVID-19 case tally passes 25 million

India's COVID-19 catastrophe has killed at least 279,000 people and there have been more than 25 million cases in total. While the country has just recorded a small decrease in the number of daily cases with 260,000 new infections, the number of deaths continues to rise.
