Interview with Melanmai Ponnusamy

A popular Tamil author and Sahitya Akademi Award winner Melanmai Ponnusamy died on Monday (30 Oct, 2017) in Chennai at the age of 66. Ponnusamy won the Sahitya Akademi Award for his short story collection Minsara Poo in 2008. He had authored 22 short story collections, six novellas and a collection of essays. He wrote about the plight of the poor and the lives of rural people.
