Politicians and domestic violence advocates have condemned a video by the women's branch of the Islamic political group, Hizb ut-Tahrir, saying Islam permits men to hit their wives.The group, calling itself Women of Hizb ut-Tahrir, describes hitting wives as "a beautiful blessing".Kulasegaram Sanchayan reports in Tamil with a feature by Peggy Giakoumelos.
