Swarnamalya is an Indian actress, TV anchor, renowned Bharathanatyam dancer who has done immense research about that art.

Swarnamalya is coming to Australia to participate in HuRUhARa, a multi-disciplinary, immersive installation of genre-bending arts experiences to be held at Abbotsford Convent from 20 February – 1 March 2020.

In the concluding of the two-part interview with Kulasegaram Sanchayan, Swarnamalya talks openly about her interests in the arts, her career as a TV anchor, an actress, about the controversies surrounding her, and in detail about her research work.

At the end of the interview, we have included a few minutes of the song sung by Anjana and Bindhumalini Narayanaswamy to which Swarnamalya Ganesh performed at a dance festival paying tribute to her guru K J Sarasa.  The Tamil version of the song was translated by Ponni and Mangai.  We thank Vincent D Souza for giving us the lead.
