He also worked as the Chief Pharmacist in an Army Base Hospital in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman for 4 years. He is a Graduate in Pharmacy from Madurai Kamaraj University, India and has a Masters degree in Medical Science from the University of NSW, Sydney. He worked as the Scientific Affairs Director of Wyeth Consumer Healthcare. He was also a member of a Government & Industry Consultation Group of the Therapeutic Goods Administration of Australia which reviews Guideline documents for Drug Registration before the documents are released for public consultation.
