Anuk Arudpragasam is from Colombo, Sri Lanka, and is currently completing a dissertation in philosophy at Columbia University. He writes in Tamil and English. "The Story of a Brief Marriage," his first novel was named one of the Best Ten Novels of 2016 by The Wall Street Journal and Shortlisted for the Dylan Thomas Prize. Anuk Arudpragasam was the only Tamil writer to participate at the Sydney Writers Festival. Kulasegaram Sanchayan talks to Anuk about his passion and his work.
