New South Wales announces its roadmap out of lockdown

Under the plan released on Thursday, stay-at-home orders for adults who have received both vaccine doses will be lifted from the Monday after 70 per cent of the state's population over 16 is fully vaccinated.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian says there is no specific date when the associated freedoms will come into effect and a high vaccination rate does not mean infection will not continue to spread.
