New visa for migrant parents to stay in Australia for up to 10 years

Under a new visa, parents could stay for up to 10 years but would never be allowed to settle in Australia, and their children would need to pay for private health cover.As many as 15,000 people each year will be able to pay up to $20,000 to bring their parents to Australia for up to a decade, following the Turnbull Governments latest immigration shakeup, SBS News can reveal.
