The Morrison government is expected to forge ahead with new skilled and family visas that force migrants to spend years in regional areas before they can move to a city like Sydney or Melbourne. Immigration Minister David Coleman says he is looking "very closely" at what he can do to get more migrants to move to regional Australia, including providing incentives and simplifying the visa process.
