Patients may be pushed to use ‘generic drugs’

Australian Government is about to introduce changes that will see prescription software altered so that the cheaper generic version of a medicine is prescribed for patients by default.Kulasegaram Sanchayan talks to Dr Thava Seelan, a long-term General Practitioner in Sydney and Mr Anbu Jaya, who has worked in the pharmaceutical industry in various capacities over 35 years managing a number of technical staff.
