Indian veteran politician Ram Vilas Paswan, a federal minister died on Thursday. Paswan was also the president of the Lok Janshakti Party, nine-time Lok Sabha member and Rajya Sabha MP. Strongly supporting the creation of Tamil Eelam, the Lok Janshakthi Party president Ram Vilas Paswan in 2012 favoured a referendum under the supervision of international community to determine the future of Sri Lankan Tamils.
