Whilst thousands of temples in South India perform Kumbhabhishekham - a ritual to homogenize, synergize and unite the mystic powers of the deity, once every twelve years, when a temple in Pondicherry, India performed it the event attracted wide publicity. Kulasegaram Sanchayan explores the history behind this story with researcher, writer and documentary maker Kombai S. Anwar, whose documentary titled "Yadhum" - which chronicles the roots of Tamil Muslims.
