Reasons behind corruption in universities in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu Governor suspended Bharathiar University vice chancellor A Ganapathi, who was arrested by the directorate of vigilance and anti-corruption in a 30 lakh alleged bribery case last week. Many Vice Chancellors have been accused of corruption and bribery. Prof.Bernard D’ Sami of LISSTAR (Loyola Institute of Social Science Training and Research), Loyola College, Chennai explains the reasons for corruptive activities and a solution to the issue.
