Deviamma, a sixty year old single woman living in the camp located in central Tamilnadu. She is one among the 3 lakh Tamil refugees who fled out of fear of persecution. The asbestos sheet spread the heat in the house, and Deviamma heart too felt grief when she starts remembering the night which destroyed her future by the atrocities of Sri Lankan forces. The Sri Lankan Govt. forces tied her husband in the neck, attached to Army's jeep and dragged him on the roads of Mannar, Northern province of Sri Lanka. She overcame the sorrow and two of her daughters got married and settled. In the cage of family, she is happy now, but one identity still hurts her. ‘Refugee’. Another young girl Kanchana, also feel the same even though she was born in Tamilnadu Camp. In this part, the refugees explain the support of Tamil Nadu government in the form of by providing free living space and basic amenities and also brief the functionality.
