Tamil Nadu government officially provides monthly stipend (Maximum 1000 INR, Minimum 400 INR: According to Age category) for every refugee in the camp. In a fast-growing country like India, the chance for living life with this amount will be very hard. So, most of the refugees in Tamil Nadu camps forced to choose daily wage jobs in nearby areas as their main option to lead their life.
This part will explain the economic condition of refugees and how the condition make impact on education of young Tamil refugees and the working status of educated Tamil refugees.
