Renting Culture on the rise in Australia

Australia remains a country where the dream of home ownership is strong. But affordability continues to be an issue, with the 2016 census showing a slow but steady decline in home-ownership rates and a rise in rental rates. A recently published review of the private rental market in 10 other countries looked at what Australia could learn from those countries about the future of rental housing. Kulasegaram Sanchayan reports in Tamil with a feature written by Peggy Giakoumelos.
