Multicultural NSW is offering fully funded scholarships for people who speak certain languages to participate in an interpreter training course at TAFE NSW. Course graduates will be eligible to become Recognised Practicing Interpreters with the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters, and may be offered employment opportunities with Multicultural NSW. The program is offered to people who meet the eligibility criteria and speak Assyrian, Burmese, Chaldean, Greek, Italian, Kirundi, Khmer, Kurmanji Kurdish, Maltese, Mongolian, Nepalese, Tamil, Thai, Tibetan, Tigrinya, Tongan, Pashto, Rohingya, Samoan, Somali and Vietnamese.
