Orissa Balu is a Tamil Researcher,writer from Uraiyur in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu. For over 21 years, he researched sea turtles and human migration patterns, believing that ancient Tamil traders followed the routes of the turtles. Orissa Balu passed away yesterday, October 6, 2023 at the age of 60. SBS Tamil had the opportunity to have a lengthy dialogue with Orissa Balu in 2016.
